Nicole Jocleen is a journalist, author, and filmmaker with roots in various places but refers to Oklahoma City as her home. After graduating from Southern University A&M College with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with emphasis in Print Journalism she has self-published 5 books, written many articles, and wrote and produced 16 indie films including feature, short, and series.

Her book, OKLAHOMA BLACK COWBOYS, will be published in 2026 by Oklahoma Hall of Fame Press.
